THE MINOR CONSORTIUM GROUP FOUNDATION VETERAN SUPPORT & NAVIGATION
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

Navigation Can Be Difficult. Support Should Not Be.

Veterans and military families often encounter systems, resources, eligibility requirements, disability-related concerns, technology needs, and community services that can be difficult to navigate alone.

TMCGF's role is to help make the next step clearer. The program focuses on practical navigation, resource connection, accessibility, technology, family support, and relationships that can help veterans move forward.

We recognize that a veteran's needs rarely exist in isolation. Family, grief, accessibility, education, community connection, and long-term well-being can overlap. Our approach is designed to respond accordingly.

OUR APPROACH

Support should not feel fragmented. It should feel connected, practical, and human.

WHO WE SERVE

Service Built Around Veterans and Families

Veteran Support & Navigation is designed to help people identify appropriate resources, connections, and practical next steps based on their circumstances.

01

Veterans

Veterans seeking help navigating resources, services, benefits, technology, accessibility, and community support.

02

Military Families

Families working through service-connected needs, resource questions, transitions, caregiving, and community connection.

03

Caregivers

Family members and caregivers seeking information, support pathways, and practical connections for a veteran they assist.

04

Veterans Facing Access Barriers

Veterans navigating disability-related, accessibility, technology, or information barriers that can affect independence.

HOW WE HELP

Practical Support. Clearer Pathways.

The program brings navigation, accessibility, technology, resource connection, and community relationships together around the needs of the veteran.

01

Resource Navigation

Helping veterans understand available resources, identify useful options, and determine appropriate next steps.

02

VA Benefits & Accredited Referrals

VA benefits information, published submission options, and connections to qualified VA-accredited representatives for help with claims, reviews, and appeals.

03

Accessibility Support

Identifying technology, information, and support pathways that may reduce barriers and strengthen independence.

04

Technology Access

Connecting veterans with appropriate technology opportunities and support where technology can improve access or daily independence.

05

Family Support

Recognizing that veteran well-being often involves spouses, caregivers, children, and the broader family system.

06

Community Referrals

Connecting veterans with qualified community, nonprofit, faith, public-sector, and veteran-serving organizations when appropriate.

OUR NAVIGATION PROCESS

Begin With the Person. Then Find the Path.

TMCGF does not assume every veteran needs the same resource or solution. Navigation begins by understanding the situation and identifying a practical next step.

01

Listen

Understand the veteran's circumstances, priorities, questions, and immediate concerns.

02

Clarify

Identify the issue, available options, and the most useful next step.

03

Connect

Provide appropriate support or connect the veteran with a qualified resource.

04

Follow Through

Help maintain continuity, clarify next steps, and strengthen the pathway forward.

AI Glasses for Veterans
ACCESSIBILITY · TECHNOLOGY · INDEPENDENCE
FEATURED INITIATIVE

AI Glasses for Veterans

A technology-access initiative designed to expand independence for veterans with visual impairments through assistive technology, training, and support.

Technology can become a meaningful pathway to greater access when it is paired with practical instruction, appropriate support, and an understanding of the individual using it.

The AI Glasses initiative sits inside Veteran Support & Navigation because technology is only one part of the larger support picture. Veterans may also need navigation, referrals, family support, or connection to additional resources.
